Contest Rules
2010 ROCK 93.9 MILLER LITE WING TOUR
1. Backyard Broadcasting, WRXW, Miller Beer, Cline Tours and participating sponsors are not responsible for any lost or stolen items during the event.
2. Backyard Broadcasting, WRXW, Miller Beer, Cline Tours, Hooters, Last Call Sports Grill, Poets II, and Wingstop are not responsible if you become physically ill during the event.
3. You must remain on the Wing Tour during the length of the entire event. Please be aware of what time the bus leaves at every location. You will not be left behind, and you may not leave, or stay at a given location, longer than its allotted time of 30 minutes.
4. PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY AND DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.
5. Eating and / or drinking is not allowed on the bus.

2011 Girls of Rock 93.9 calendar official rules
Radio Station WRXW ROCK 93.9 (the “Station”) will be conducting a contest to find 12 girls to be in the 2011 Girls of Rock 93.9 calendar.
EVENT DATES
The casting calls to determine the 12 Girls of Rock 93.9 will take place between mid-August and mid-September. Specific dates and times will be noted on ROCK 93.9 and rock939.com.
ELIGIBILITY
Participants must be females who are 21 years of age or older as of August 1, 2010. Any participant who, as of January 1, 2010, has any type of talent and/or management representation (e.g., a talent agent or manager), is under any type of professional performance contract (including but not limited to, a music recording contract, a talent contract, an acting contract), and/or is party to a merchandising or sponsorship contract is eligible to participate in the contest but the participant will be responsible for any fees to these agencies.
Any person who is a member of AFTRA or any similar union is NOT ELIGIBLE to participate in the contest.
Employees of WRXW ROCK 93.9 Backyard Broadcasting Holdings LLC, their affiliated entities and each of their respective agencies, representatives, and their immediate family members, employees of other radio stations, and those who reside with such employees are not eligible to enter and/or win. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, siblings, grandparents, children, grandchildren and cohabiting significant others. Other restrictions may apply.
WRXW ROCK 93.9 reserves the right to disqualify any participant at any time in its sole discretion.
CASTING CALLS
Females who wish to participate in the search are asked to mail, drop off, or email, at least two (2) photos of themselves along with personal information (name, address, birth date, phone number, etc.). Representatives of the Station may contact each participant by phone or email to get further information. The station address is 222 Beasley Road Jackson, MS 39206.
The deadline to enter is 11:59pm (Central), September 17th, 2010. The casting call may continue past the posted time deadline at the discretion of the Station.
By participating in this contest, each participant hereby consents to the Station’s use of her name; voice; likeness; and biographical information for on-air broadcast and for advertising and promotional purposes without payment or additional consideration. All participants further agree that the Station owns or will own exclusively any recordings, video, or photographs of such participants, including the copyrights in them, regardless of the form in which they have been or may be produced and used, and all participants assign all such ownership rights to the Station.
Station shall have the right to copy, edit, broadcast, publish and use, in whole or in part, any materials featuring participants, in any manner without compensation. Station will work with interested females in the placement of their casting call based on proximity and availability.
JUDGING
All interested participants will be invited to a preliminary scheduled event. Participants will be judged by a panel in the following categories…swimwear, clubwear, and overall presence; including, but not limited to, attitude and crowd interaction. Station officials have the right to determine whether the attire is appropriate based on contest standards. Through a series of events, 12 models will be selected. A cover girl will be determined at a final event using similar criteria and execution.
COMPENSATION
As one of the 12 chosen Girls of Rock 93.9 calendar models, participants will receive a professional photo portfolio, $100.00 in prizes, and potential appearance fees. The Girls of Rock 93.9 calendar cover girl will receive $250.00 in cash and other prizes.
The 12 Girls of Rock 93.9 calendar girls will be bound to behavioral standards set forth by the Station when asked to represent the Station at any promotional event. Failure to comply will result in the cease of any further opportunities to earn promotional fees.
OTHER
All Station events, including on-air appearances by the participants, may be recorded by the Station and shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Station and may be broadcast on-air and used for promotional and advertising purposes without permission or compensation.
Station contests are subject to all applicable laws and regulations and are void where prohibited.
Station reserves the right to change, alter or modify these rules, contest dates, times, and/or locations at any time with or without written notice. Material changes to the contest rules will be broadcast on-air, when practical.
Station reserves the right to end or stop any contest at any time and for any reason.
Station management shall decide all matters relating to the contest and the interpretation of contest rules. The decisions of Station management shall be final. Entry in the contest constitutes agreement by all contestants to abide by these rules, as well as any other rules established by Station. Official station contest rules also apply.
Backyard Broadcasting Mississippi LLC Official Contest Rules
1. No purchase necessary.
2. You must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age to participate in promotional events. At times the minimum age of requirement may be 21 (twenty-one).
3. Contests are open to the public, with the exception of employees of Backyard Broadcasting LLC, participating sponsors, former employees, immediate family members of the afore mentioned and/or persons residing in their household(s).
4. One winner per household per 30(thirty) day period. One winner per household per 90(ninety) day period on prizes valued over 50(fifty) dollars.
5. Backyard Broadcasting LLC of Jackson may amend or change these rules without prior notice.
6. Prizes given away are 'as is' and Backyard Broadcasting shall not be held liable for failure of a participating sponsor(s) to deliver said prizes.
7. Prizes are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
8. All state local and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).
9. Winner(s) agree that their likeness, name, photo and/or voice may be used for promotional purpose by Backyard Broadcasting and/or it's participating sponsors free of compensation.
10. All prized must be claimed in person at Backyard Broadcasting of Jackson, located at 222 Beasley Road Jackson, Mississippi 39206. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00(eight) am to 5:00(five) pm. Winner may be required to show picture identification to claim certain prizes and will be required to furnish their Social Security Number for cash prizes and prized valued at $50 or more. All cash awards will be awarded in the form of check and may be claimed after 7(seven) business days of winning. Prizes must be claimed within 2 weeks of available pick up date or they will be forfeited. In the event the value of the prize(s) is over $599.00(five hundred-ninety nine) dollars winner(s) will receive the appropriate Internal Revenue Service form(s) for tax purposes.
11. All information acquired during contesting will become the sole property of Backyard Broadcasting LLC, and will be destroyed or securely stored at our facility.
12. Certain events may require participant(s) to sign waiver documentation releasing Backyard Broadcasting LLC of any and all liability that may be incurred due to bodily injury, loss of income, employment or any and all other extenuating circumstances that may result from participating in the event.
13. Backyard Broadcasting of Jackson may terminate a contest(s) at anytime with no prior written or vocal notice. In the event of any tie, a random drawing will be held to determine a sole winner(s). Any person and or persons who use fraudulent means to win a prize(s) will be disqualified from any and all current or future promotions, and at the discretion of Backyard Broadcasting, legal action may ensue.
14. Violation of any of the above rules will result in immediate forfeiture of all prize(s) and may result in a permanent ban on participating in any future promotional events by Backyard Broadcasting and it's participating sponsors.
15. As an alternate way to participate in any on air contest on WRXW, you may also register at our studios at 222 Beasley Rd in Jackson.
